The image is of the Uluru Statement from the Heart, a petition arising from a May 2017 gathering of hundreds of First Nations delegates at Uluru, the internationally-recognised #Pitjantjatjara sacred site at the heart of the continent.

It was this Statement that was the impetus for the current referendum.

Yet just weeks out from actually voting, surveys indicate that only 15% of voters have ever read or heard the text of the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
