J'apprécie beaucoup cette œuvre de #ViktorVasnetsov, peintre russe qui n'a pas tout de suite assumé son attrait symboliste pour les bylines, dans un contexte qui ne le favorisait pas. D'abord proche des artistes russes du mouvement des "Ambulants", il y devint persona non grata et finit par peindre de plus en plus d'icônes à la fin de sa vie.
