I genitori lo avevano accompagnato a scuola, ma lui non è entrato in aula. Poco dopo, si è diretto verso l'ufficio postale per commettere una rapina. È successo a Vigliano Biellese, in provincia di Biella, dove un 13enne si è presentato nella filiale armato di una pistola giocattolo che ha puntato contro un dipendente per costringerlo a farsi consegnare 500 euro.
Poi la fuga a piedi verso i campi tra Vigliano e il paese confinante, durata poco a causa dell'arrivo dei Carabinieri che nello zainetto hanno rinvenuto la refurtiva. Grazie alle indicazioni di una donna, che stava usando il bancomat e aveva visto il 13enne fuggire a piedi, i militari sono riusciti a raggiungere il ragazzino in meno di un quarto d'ora.
Ignote finora le ragioni del gesto. Per legge, poiché sotto i 14 anni, il ragazzo non è imputabile.
