Dearly hoping someone wants a Trico tattoo, because otherwise I'll have to tattoo the bebe on myself ;^;

I know it was doomed but I miss the era of the community stinging nettle patch next to the Wark Park children's playground
"Fire: Destructive, Regenerative, Sacred" now open at ArtPod in Metchosin! The exhibitions runs from the 20th of March to the 3rd of May.
In honour of World Earth Day, ArtPod presents Fire: Destructive Regenerative Sacred, the third part of the continuing Elements Series.
A powerful force of change, fire represents both renewal and destruction, the sacred and profane, safety and danger, passion and loss. All living beings have a primal relationship with fire. How has fire impacted you? Maybe you think of destructive wildfires. Or sharing stories and songs around a campfire. This exhibit explores the elemental force of fire across all artistic media.

The threat of privateering in the Pacific during the American Civil War presented a major problem to the United States State Department and to the Pacific Squadron of the navy. The Confederate States planned to interfere with California’s commerce and to capture gold shipments along the Pacific Sea lanes, for a stoppage of the flow of gold from the mines of California would weaken the credit and purchasing power of the Federal Government.

My first 2026 #strawberry #flower has emerged. Lots of flowerbuds are getting ready to bloom. After the blooms, come some of my early, sweet, homegrown #strawberries 🍓
This is in a large garden bed in the side yard - there's thousands of strawberry plants in that bed 😃
We love eating strawberries so we grow lots of them. I have 3 different varieties growing in our front, side & backyards & 2 strawberry planters on our back deck too.

I liked these #GarryOak #trees with lots of #daffodils - up on a grassy/mossy hill. Spotted/shot through a chainlink fence.
