Watching an Apple #Lisa documentary. Realizing that the compromises in the Macintosh system software were necessary to hit the price point where it could start building momentum. Lisa made the "correct" technical decisions and that's a key reason it was too expensive to succeed. Went through the first chapter of the first edition of Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X (the first Big Nerd Ranch book) on 10.1 on my B&W. Will see how far I can get through it during the festival. Maybe I'll even get into programming modern native Mac apps! #vcfsoutheast #vcfse
