Joseph Wilford Booth (1866–1928) was an American missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and educator in the early 20th-century. Booth was born in #Alpine, #UtahTerritory. He attended #BrighamYoungAcademy, he then became a school teacher. He married Mary Rebecca "Reba" Moyle in the #LoganUtahTemple in 1890. Booth served his first mission to the Ottoman Empire from 1898 until 1902. He returned as a missionary in 1903, this time accompanied by his wife.
Lorin Calvin Woolley (October 23, 1856 – September 19, 1934) was an American proponent of #pluralMarriage and one of the founders of the #MormonFundamentalist movement. As a young man in #UtahTerritory, Woolley served as a courier and bodyguard for polygamous leaders of #theChurchOfJesusChristOfLatterdaySaints (LDS Church) in hiding during the federal crusade against polygamy. His career as a religious leader in his own right commenced in the early twentieth century.
