After a whole lot of time, more #UnprofessionalPictures! Yeah, I know, you didn't miss them, but I kinda like these two, so here we are. I made this dress myself for the wedding of an old friend of mine: I was her one of her bridesmaids so I was supposed to dress nicely. While partying I found the "lightsaber" and the Stormtrooper's mask and I asked my husband to take some silly pictures of my and my dress.
I needed 4 days of work and 3mt of shantung silk in order to make this dress.

These last few days have been pretty heavy, but luckily some nice things happened so I want to keep track of them. Here some #UnprofessionalPictures which are more professional than usual!
Being a professional seamstress means that I no longer sew for myself or my loved ones, since I had to sew too much, but this time I really wanted to make something for my husband, so I sewed a Lego shirt! It's still missing its buttons because he really wants some Lego buttons too.

Once again, I made it! I finally have more #UnprofessionalPictures to share with you.
This time is a black taffeta shrug with tulle sleeves: the bodice is fully lined while the tulle seams are binded with satin bias.
Pretty dramatic, isn't it?

I think I could create a hashtag, something like #UnprofessionalPictures, since my photos are always so shitty. But hey, I'm a professional seamstress, not a professional photographer.
Look at those seams! This coat from the back seems seamless, but it's not.
I've skipped yesterday's dinner and today's lunch but hey, I'm done!
