While Democrat Aftyn Behn lost to Republican Matt Van Epps, the margin was much tighter than last year, when Trump won the same district by 23 points. The Democratic-aligned House Majority PAC says this “should be a five-alarm fire for the GOP.”
“Tonight’s results make it clear: No House Republican’s reelection should be considered safe next November,” spokesperson CJ Warnke said in a statement.
