👁 Day 18 - ZDF Mediathek: Vermisst im Gay Village - Serienmorde in Toronto (German)

Very important documentary to watch. This mainly deals with double discrimination in the 2010-2017 Toronto serial homicides; affecting the police work and possibly delaying catching the murderer. The documentary I watched was German, but there are several other ones in English or different languages.
There's also a lengthy Wikipedia article about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010%E2%80%932017_Toronto_serial_homicides

I like that they talked to activists, people within the community, and even extended the report to include the issues of people of colour, specifically men from Arabian countries here.

This is a reality check. Most of us know how hard it still is to be queer, especially away from the Western world. If you have people you know that should be made aware, this is something you can show them. It's a tough topic, but it is still very necessary.
