Shell Games#TansytheHalfling is finally feeling brave enough to explore beyond Misty Thicket... today she made her way safely through the Liberated Citadel of Runnyeye into the Gorge of King Xorbb, where she is hunting goblins and muddites and trying to avoid the giant floating eyeballs.
#TansytheHalfling is now level 12!! Woo hoo! In an effort to hunt the goblins that threaten Misty Thicket, she ventured with 5 stalwart friends into the terrifying, slimy warren of Runnyeye Citadel... named, one presumes, for the giant floating eyeball that patrols the narrow twisting corridors and instantly murders anyone who doesn't run away fast enough.
#TansytheHalfling has reached the mighty level 9 and has decided to take up brewing and baking. Because halfling hospitality. She has still not ventured beyond Misty Thicket but one day hopes to travel the world.
In guild news, we are getting organized, sorting out officer responsibilities (few), and prettying up the Discord server.
#Tormax General chat has been a bit less chummy the past few days (no dad jokes or Futurama quotes), so I'm hoping the guild chat will fill the void. #Everquest

I spent quite a while just laughing with my guildies in guild chat (the guild quadrupled in size just today) about my obsessive swimming in circles looking for piranhas to murder. How the waters of Rivervale were running red with Tansy's murder spree.
And when Chomper finally spawned, it felt like a lightning bolt from the blue. I literally took a little dance break after I finally killed him. 😂
I thought maybe my newbie/casual-friendly #Everquest guild on #Tormax would end up just being me, but it's 5 people now, and we're all vibing nicely. Casual players are my favorite kinds of people, tbh - they always have such creative ways of approaching the game that don't involve being the First Anything or Top Anything.
I went ahead and started an #Everquest
guild called <Spirit of Rivervale> on #Tormax for any fellow casuals who are into that whole "kind, friendly, wholesomely mischievous and slightly lazy" halfling vibe.
There will be zero participation requirements to be in the guild. I'll just be happy to see ya if you're on. :)
I think I've decided I'm going to make #Tormax my Forever Home on #EQ and actually try to maybe keep up a little bit. I won't be playing very often, because my #WoWClassic RP guild keeps me pretty busy, but I want to at least give it a go and see how far Tansy can progress.
If you know anyone on Tormax who has a kindhearted, grownup guild that is friendly to SUPER casual and newbie players and willing to group even with people who don't know what they're doing, let me know!
