Does anybody know how non-Web URI's are handled in a WebView on Android?

I am using #Tiddloid on a local #TiddlyWiki in #Android which seems to be implemented in a #Webview. If I click https:// links, it opens the web browser. If I click callto: and payto: links, a permissions dialog for opening an external app is shown, but allowing it doesn't do anything.

@SergoZar щойно спробував — #tiddloid є на #fdroid'і й працює чудово; просто мрія; нічого кращого для нотаток / закладок на смартфоні не треба; файл html можна синхронізувати (owncloud, syncthing тощо) кому з чим треба, все відкриватиметься (принаймні для читання, щодо зберігання див. згадку про втулок вище) на «дорослому» компі. ляля.

@ryn I convert my org-roam database to a #TiddlyWiki once per day, which is synced to my Android devices (phone and e-book reader) via #SyncThing. I read them using #Tiddloid. Read-only, but nicely formatted and with a built-in search.
