I'm not going to make any illusions at all, most days being self employed is a pain in the posterior. Not today. Today I decided to take the day off and go to the lake. And the woods. And the bar for lunch. I put my phone on airplane mode all day, and took a bajillion pictures. One full day in the battery charger makes up for a lot of bad ones. Three and a half miles of paradise.

How to remove a tick and prevent future bites

Ticks are small, insect-like creatures that live in heavily-wooded or grassy areas. If you walk through these areas, they can attach to your skin and feed on your blood. Although most ticks do not carry disease, some can cause serious illness, such as Lyme disease, Powassan virus, or Rocky Mountain spotted fever. To prevent infection, it’s important to remove a tick from your skin as soon as you notice it.
