At the De Bilt weather station, 14.7 degrees were measured around midday, putting the old record from 1980 out of the books. The old record stood at 14.4 degrees.After a cold week, temperatures rose in the night from Saturday to Sunday. The reason for this was a mild south-to-southwest wind. In many places, temperatures rose to up to 16 degrees. The south of the country in particular is very warm for this time of year.
