When I was on Twitter, I used to scroll to find posts that had beautiful things like gardens or art or happy stories. They helped me feel good. There were so many doom and gloom and trash posts that the good things were few and far between. My behavior reminds me of someone sitting at a slot machine hoping for the next endorphin rush of a jackpot. Just pulling the lever until I win. Small hits that strung me along to keep scrolling.
