An actual vulture capitalist, if such a thing existed, would be one who cleans up after themselves. It would be one who leaves the world better than they found it. It would make you healthier and safer.

I'm begging photo editors and designers: Stop using vultures as symbols of greed and waste. I know it seems harmless, but how we think about these animals absolutely impacts how we treat and conserve them, and in most of the world, they are not doing well.
