The 2nd colourisation + re-edit of 60s #DoctorWho is a triumph. I loved every magical frame of #TheWarGames in colour — esp. the clear implication via musical cues that, as long mooted, the aliens’ War Chief, #TimeLord traitor, was ofc #TheMaster! His ‘death’ even featured subtle regeneration sound FX… bravo #BBC.
#PatrickTroughton was surely the best Doctor, so for no.3 it has to be #TheInvasion… but for #WilliamHartnell, how about #TheWebPlanet — making THAT look good really will take magic!
