In a world where criminals evade justice, citizens vote via text for the death penalty, executed by "Dog Mask" if over 50% agree.

Day 22: Shortest drama that I have watched.
The ok but not great #TheKillingVote at 12 episodes.

Day8: stand out secondary character of 2023
Hmm.2 possible choices.
1. The characer of Noh Han-sik who was the MLs assistant in #KingTheLand.
2. The psychopath character of Lee Min Soo in #TheKillingVote.
Currently watching #TheKillingVote on PRIME with my man Park Hae Jin. It has a few issues with continuity but overall I am enjoying. The premise is a bit like #DevilJudge where public gets to decide if a criminal should be punished.
Recently I mentioned being in a drama rut and asked folks to offer up some drama viewing suggestions. I decided to head over to VIKI vs my usual streaming platforms. I won't get a passport to the VIKI channel but when I typed in the word FREE, out popped a ton of old(er) dramas and movies, ones that I always meant to watch, . Including the odd rewatch, I counted 55 free dramas that have grabbed my interest. 55! That is madness.
“Revolutionizing Justice: Participatory Verdicts in K-dramas”
Imagine a world where the power to decide a person’s guilt or innocence is no longer solely in the hands of the legal system but is instead placed directly into the hands of the public. This intriguing concept has been brought to life in two captivating K-drama TV series: The Devil Judge (악마판사) and The Killing Vote (국민사형투표). In a unique twist, both shows invite the public to cast their votes on the fate of the accused, evoking a sense of agency and empowerment that resonates deeply with the frustrations of the ordinary citizens.

New, 1 ep a week, drama just dropped yesterday on #Prime.
Synopsis: When baddies avoid justice, a masked vigilante sends everyone over 18 a text/email which asks them to take part in a vote. Should the criminal receive the death penalty or should he let them go? Majority rules.
