The Keepers parle d'un meurtre d'une sœur catholique, probablement parce qu'elle voulait dénoncer un prêtre pédophile.
Toutes les manigances faites pour cacher les horreurs des uns et les bassesses des autres, c'est effroyable. Mais c'est à voir si on veut comprendre le sens du mot systémique.

C'est à la fois terrifiant et très intéressant. C'est sordide (les violences sexuelles, CW fois cent, vraiment ultra dur), avec les archives détruites, tiens donc, et l'attitude de la police et de la justice ultra louche.
C'est intéressant : de voir les victimes raconter leur façon de digérer leurs traumatismes, comment elles ont été soutenues (vs les traumas des hommes mis sous le tapis), et le fait de ne plus être seule à affronter ça.
La façon dont les enquêtrices abordent les gens qu'elles veulent interviewer, leur façon de laisser du temps, leur pragmatisme ou leur découragement.

Je continue The Keepers, une enquête sur un meurtre en 1969 à Baltimore.
Une enquête reprise de nos jours par deux anciennes élèves de cette professeure et bonne sœur qui a été tuée.

I was lucky enough to see a great band #thekeepers on Xmas eve, and it's kept me musically topped up all week with a good recharge tonight listening to #frankblack 's first solo album all the way through. I've got a jam to look forward to on the 2nd January 😎😎😎

We finished the last episode of #TheKeepers last night. How horrible. The last episode basically showed how much the Catholic Church tried to save face instead of doing what was right.

It was a really good documentary and got a lot of discussion out of us. I would give it a 6/10.

I still haven't figured out why it was called the Keepers. Maybe they were secret keepers? 🤷

Tonight we watched episode 3 of #TheKeepers. It is really sad hearing what happened to all these people. It is horrible that anything like this could happen. To think that one who professes to follow God and bring people to God; then turn around, sexually abuse kids and murder adults who threaten to reveal them, it is just heartbreaking.

Watching #TheKeepers on Netflix. Watch out! This is not mainly about the murder on a nun as the trailer suggests. It's about the massive #sexualAbuse system which came to light when former students of #Keough school began to investigate her case on their own. The series is about patriarch power and it's toxic, disastrous consequences. The traitors: Priests, medics and of course cops.
My deepest respect to the survivors who broke the silence.
