Another creature made a hole under the fence to dig fallen apples out of the snow and munch them.
Not sure who, too many candidates. Probably either badger or racoon dog. Also caught Chicken the cat, a deer butt, a bunny and the fox, who is too fast for a good picture.

The foxes are really bothered by the camera. Must be true that they can see IR light. Nobody else noticed the camera except for a deer mistaking it for a salt stick.
SOLVED: Probably Usūrinis šuo, the Ussuri raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides ussuriensis) - see below
#CameraTrap caught some mystery creatures on #TheHighway. What are they? Doesn't seem to match badger or beaver. Wolverine, this far south? European invasive racoon? What are they?
Size wise they're about the same as the fox that keeps staring at the camera everytime it passes (but is no longer spooked by it).

Put the camera back on what we call "the highway", an intersection of two busy wildlife trails.
Lots of good captures in the last two nights.
Here a fox wanders past, somehow spots the camera (which emits only infrared light), gets spooked and runs back where he came from.
