My 25-year-old bootleg version I photocopied back in my undergrad days is literally falling to bits
(This was one of the books I'd included in my planned Grand U.P. Main Library Heist of 2001 before they put in barcodes and doorway scanners)

(also for the Emily of New Moon trilogy, uncomfortably *creepy* as that entire series made me feel when I was a kid 😅)

I'd actually forgotten that I'd bought this book until it arrived via courier. Then I thought: "Why did I want to re-traumatize myself again?" because I read this when I was 14 and was horrified by the idea of Tintin, Boy Reporter having a sex life (come on! If you'd been reading and collecting the Tintin comics as a child, you would have been too)

Then I remembered: oh yeah, I've got an AO3 account now

So 30 years on, it's high time I gave this another shot
