Possibly the MOST subjective genre. The first Drama that comes to mind whenever I see this even after 12 years, is the 2014 #jDrama #Date - whoever wrote it shared MY sense of humour almost perfectly.
BUT, hooray for the extra characters here, because #kDrama #TheDivorceInsurance surprised me by how FUNNY it was. I already knew Giraffe as a great comic actor but the whole core cast made me laugh, a lot.

Humour is probably the MOST subjective of all genres, and my clear winner, #jDrama #TheHotSpot is one many hated - for reason I totally grok. NONE of the characters were very likable, and the humour was painful at times. Painfully funny, for me.
Honourable mention to #TheDivorceInsurance - I generally find #kDrama comedy less fun than DIY dentistry, but the actor I still know as Giraffe is a comedic gem

LOL funny, but now starting to get some background on why things are they way they are & it's got a lot of heart - Lee Dong Wook is perfect. I think this is going to be a really good one if they can hang on for all 12 episodes.
Proof of how different my perception of comedy is from #KDrama norms can be found in the ratings for #TheDivorceInsurance. Into episode 6 of 12 and it's still VERY funny to me, while a check of the episode ratings show that it basically died when aired.
When reassembling my PTW a coiuple of months ago, I decided to focus on trying out #KDrama comedies, a genre that generally clicks with me as well as penguins fly. Into episode 4 of 12 in #TheDivorceInsurance and it is SERIOUSLY threatening to break that bad run. IF it doesn't tank, and that's always a HUUUUUUGE "if", it is likely to end up as the funniest comedic #KDrama I've watched
