Really enjoyed this book series (along with the preceding book taking place in the same universe, The Goblin Emperor, which I read last year and follows a different character). I wouldn't call it cozy because some bad stuff happens like murders and there is a melancholy undercurrent, but the pacing is slow, and the main character Thara Celehar is kind, and the connections he makes with people who care about him despite his tendency to isolate is wholesome and heartwarming. A pity there aren't any more books in this series yet, but hopefully Addison will write more in the future. 👀
