I'm at #TheButterRoom for lunch. One of the chefs is going tomorrow night, and she took the G DRAGON bracelet. Another staff member (the one who's most encouraging when I try to speak Korean) took the GOOD BOY bracelet.
At #TheButterRoom (Korean bakery) for lunch today, and the playlist is all K-pop girl groups. (Usually they play western pop.)
I recognised "Cheer Up" by #TWICE as I walked in (one of my fave TWICE songs) and danced along with it as I placed my order.
The person taking my order said he wasn't really a fan, so I asked him what he likes. And he said "have you heard of #GDragon?"
Chat. I have very much heard of G-Dragon. 😁
So i did a lot of gushing over his looks for his most recent comeback, especially the manicures, possibly giving the impression that I'm more interested in G-Dragon's aesthetic than in his actual music. Whoops
In the lift this morning, I saw someone with takeaway drinks from #TheButterRoom so of course I had to tell them of my love for this place.
They said that the strawberry shortcake is amazing
So I thought, fuck it, I'm having strawberry shortcake for lunch today
Look I'm not going clubbing with Kylie in the strictest sense of the concept.
But I am about to go to the post office to pick up a packige.

Then I'll go shopping for some really good chocolate and/or ice cream, so that I'm prepared for some serious self-soothing when the thing that I'm NOT LETTING MYSELF HOPE FOR doesn't happen this weekend.

This food item is called a Melting Pandoro. That plastic sleeve on the top is full of cream. When you lift the sleeve, the cream flows over the cake.
The Melting Pandoro was AMAZING.
The drink is pretty great too. But it's also full of cream. So next time, I think I'll have creamy food or creamy drink, not both. 😅
