The Banglerfish Through The Prism

The Banglerfish surfaced Out Of The Blue at Tankwa Town this year, playing banging Drum and Bass on the Binnenkring. Let’s see what it can do at AfrikaBurn 2026. Just like light refracts to become a rainbow, so The Banglerfish will become something else.

This new creature might not look like a fish at all, more like a cart, with a DJ booth and speakers, able to be pulled by a few people. It might play more styles of breakbeat music, have a better sound system, a bigger glitter ball. Do you have some ideas for a better Banglerfish? The Banglerfish at AfrikaBurn 2025

For one glorious night we had a banging drum & bass party on the Binnenkring at our mutant vehicle The Banglerfish.

This was Tuesday night, right after we got our DMV license.

Unfortunately the next day the Tankwa wind had her way and it wasn’t safe to take the mutant out. And by Thursday the fabric had ripped and that was the end of The Banglerfish.

We will see what happens next year, another mutant, a cart, or some other setup. We will keep you updated here on our blog.
