“Terminal USA” started out as the winner of a script competition that PBS sponsored. Unfortunately, this was the early 90s and conservatives were attacking Public Media (NPR, PBS, etc) and the National Endowment for the Arts for ~vulgarity~ and due to that many PBS stations refused to air “Terminal USA” and some only aired a severely censored version of the film.
