I have just found out that my Telstra TV (Roku) box will be remotely bricked for Halloween, which is quite outrageous. It's like if Amazon decided to nuke all the Kindles, or Apple did similar to the Apple Watches. "Once disabled, your Telstra TV will not work at all. This includes browsing, watching, app access, and settings changes.
