Taunus Bikepacking: That was fun overall. It also was a good solid week of testing my mettle. Exactly what I wanted. Something to train for. Something to motivate me and something to completely switch off from work.

Heart full, mind buzzing.
Even though it seemingly was „just“ home in Germany and through so familiar middle mountain range woods and fields, a bikepacking event like #Taunusbikepacking never disappoints. Days and experiences blur, so much impressions fit into one week. The shared adventure with likeminded riders and sharing of stories does something even with rather circumspect characters. So more of my impressions will be shared later on.

My bike for the upcoming Taunus Bikepacking.
This Sunday, 8 am the gun will go off for the 9th edition of Taunus Bikepacking. And 99 intrepid souls will start on one of the most Spaghetti-like Bikepacking route there probably is in the world. I will be one of them and this is my bike.
My trusted Canyon Exceed which served me so well already across Badlands, El Piri, Alps Divide and Silk Road Mountain Race.
