For those of you who livemusic in NYC, Tapped In has an updated mobile web interface to go along with the ios app. Snappy and highly functional. New curated listings added daily. It's the best damn concert listings app in the biz.

Day one of a long big-review-and-more work week in the books. Gonna get worse before it gets better, but Friday will be here in four days regardless.
As it so happens, it's also an above-average livemusic week in NYC, in my amateur opinion. With mere average already being too many great shows for one man to handle.
Watch as I rectify these two realities.

And finally, tonight: freakin ridiculous double bill of the heaviest heavy-duty psych rock. Minami Deutsch heavy jammy and Earthless just relentless and overwhelmingly heavy, like getting punched in the face for 80 minutes. In the best way. Killer killer show at Elsewhere.
