Thanks Disco Elysium for teaching me how to not completely butcher the pronunciation of reál in front of my Brazilian coworkers. #TangentialLearning

TIL "draconian" has two definitions and etymologies.

The first usage comes from the latin word Draco, meaning dragon, and just means dragon-like.

The second, and more popular usage, comes from the Athenian lawmaker Draco, and means very severe or strict.

Honestly, I'm very disappointed they aren't both derived from dragons.
