@dch82 Icon Composer files can not be put into the drag and drop area if the Get Info dialog in #TahoeBeta. This will result in a generic "Icon Composer file" icon for the target and not the contents of the Icon Composer file.
This is probably my last #TahoeBeta post. Yesterday it was unusually dark in my room. And I noticed that if you use all the dark defaults of MacOS it looks pretty great, too.
#TahoeBeta number six is here.
@mwichary Just in case you find it interesting: This is how it looks on my machine. #TahoeBeta … I get nothing else, just the thing in the control center.
OK, I can see why they didn't do that. #TahoeBeta

After a while of using #TahoeBeta I wonder if a middle-ground between the over-saturated default icons and clear mode would have been beautiful enough to please all users.

Maybe I should calibrate my monitor. The red of Music just can't be right.

I can get on with the rest of my day now. #macOS26 #macOSTahoe #apple #ICONS2026 #tahoebeta #beta5
Beta 5 is there. #TahoeBeta
BTW. People were telling me Launchpad was gone in #TahoeBeta #macOS26. This is true, but the place in the dock is now home to "Apps" which is practically the same thing integrated into spotlight. So you don't have to use the finder or type anything to get an overview of your apps, which was what I implied from the news.
BTW. It should be four Finder icons in the picture: There is a difference between normal clear and dark clear. #TahoeBeta.
