You can be an influencer doing anything on algo social media if you're attractive or crazy, for the same reason tabloids exist in the supermarket checkout line. Our lizard brain gives it a few seconds of attention. The robots can track this and will then send more of this content at us. It's profiting off human weakness. Entertaining ourselves to death.

There's a lizard brain in all of us, and it makes us pay some attention to the low-brow. Car crashes, celebrities, sex and conspiracies. It was previously relegated to daytime TV or checkout magazines. To give it any attention publicly would brand you as trashy.

Algos have changed this, and thus our culture. It knows what we linger on for even a second, so we get this junk pushed at us more than ever before. But unlike other media, it hasn't yet made us disrespect the platforms. #TabloidCulture
