So, I had to get serious about getting cooling fans installed in my #TiePilot helmet for a July 4th parade. After 3 unsuccessful attempts since January, I finally had my eureka moment. The question that dogged me was where to fit a rather large 5000mah power bank? Then it hit me - fit it between the star foam and helmet liner, where the mohawk on the top has plenty of room to contain it #501stLegion #StarWars #cosplay

Major upgrade today - after trying out four different types of hoses, I found these surplus gas mask extensions. All-rubber construction means they hold their curvature but are flexible enough to give much better head movement than any other hose I've tried - about 45-degrees in every direction #StarWars #TIEPilot #501stLegion #cosplay

Oh hey, so I got my TIE Reserve kit approved just moments ago as well - not super difficult as it's 98% the same kit as my full TIE Pilot, but still good to have backup options if my helmet meets with any unforeseen disasters. I'm thinking about adding a bridge crew submission as well, although with the Reserve approval I'm not sure there's much point as they're nearly identical.
