I've met incredible people from all over the world through loving this band for half my life. @[email protected] was one of them! A lot of others, I don't really get to see much in person, outside of these #THSBB shows. The band, the fans, the music--they mean a lot. 3/4
In some ways, having 2020 be the year Heaven Is Whenever turns 10 feels right and appropriate. #THSBB
Can we get #ButchWalker to produce a @[email protected] record, and just go full-on glam rock like the Let's-Go-Out-Tonites? I feel like these guys haven't made their Aladdin Sane yet, and Butch would really pull out all the stops, what with the horns and 3-part backing vox... #THSBB
It's always wild to me how @[email protected] gets the punchy, even bass tone he does playing without a pick. #THSBB
So, I know I don't talk about this band nearly as much as I think about them, but if you want to catch a virtual rock show this weekend, it's gonna be hard to do better than The Hold Steady's annual residency.
