I’m going to beat this fucking drum again. Bands and artists need to stop playing #SXSW. If you want an industry festival it needs to be built at a grassroots level roots to the benefit of the artists. You’re not going to change the corporate beast. SXSW blatantly lied about the military involvement once, you’re going to believe them the next time? The #UMAW’s heart is in the right place but spends way too much energy trying to change corporations.
