It is something to hear your music in a movie being shown to a cinema full of people but it is something completely else hearing your music going full belt (not having to wrestle with roaring starships or clashing light sabres) to march in rows and rows of imperial or rebel soldiers down the aisles of a packed event hall and this three days in a row.

Yesterday was the premiere of “Of Troopers and Knights” a documentary on the swiss starwars cosplay groups “Swiss Garrison” and “Helvetica Base”. I had the priviledge to write orchestral music for this production. After the presentation I joined a short panel to discuss the history of these organisations and the movie.

The movie will premiere on YouTube on Sunday, 12th of March (link below).
