I have a pet burdock in my backyard as well. It's my first year with it so I'm not sure if it's going to make burrs this year or not
Last summer I celebrated my favourite "weed" salsify by posting pictures of it through the season. I find the flowers beautiful, and it is related to a more edible version that has purple flowers (although I believe these wild ones are still edible, I just haven't been brave enough to try). This one's already as tall as me!! #SummerSalsify #wildflowers
