Erin and I wanted to thank everyone for the AMAZING outpouring of support. It's been a week since we launched the GoFundMe to cover my final surgery and have been blown away by the response so far. We're truly humbled and blessed to have so many caring people in our lives.
Even though at the time of this post, we've raised just over $1000, and there's still a long way to go. If you have a few moments, if you feel this to be a worthy cause, I hope you'd consider sharing the fundraiser with everyone you know.

I had blood work this morning and another appointment with my surgeon next week. I'll continue to share updates as they happen.

As some of you are aware, my pre-op appointment is this Tuesday. I'll find out all of the particulars, time frames, etc.
However, to keep the infection in my foot at bay until the surgery, Dr Yoshi put me on doxycycline for the better part of 2 months.
2 weeks ago, I got a little sunburn on my hands, upper arms, and the tops of my knees. Needless to say, doxycycline and the sun DO NOT mix. The swelling, redness, and blisters kept getting progressively worse. And here we are. Not gonna lie, incredibly painful. It's worse on my arms. Lots of blisters.
So I stopped the doxycycline. Corticosteroid cream is now in use as well as benadryl pills. Hopefully, it goes away soon as it's kinda affecting my ability to draw right now.
Sorry for the icky pic. I'll update everyone after we see the doctors on Tuesday!
