Another 7 days on the temperature tree. Nights are still cool colours but the days are warming up :)

Nebamun progresses! I'm nearly down to the bottom of his wig now and then it'll be on to a bit of the broad collar he's wearing before I move back up to the top for another strip.

I managed to completely finish this piece in time for my friend's birthday last Wednesday, and she likes it so that's good :)
I think she's talking about framing it rather than using it as a bookmark which might be just as well as I'm not sure how robust the edges are!
The letter N comes from a free DMC alphabet, the rest is self drafted.
Not much extra on the penguin piece in the last couple of weeks, but I think the next bit of thread will be starting at the feet of one of the penguins!

Some progress on Nebamun now I finished the birthday gift I was making earlier in the month. I'm probably about 3 weeks from finishing this column of stitching (well, to the same level as the rest), at which point it's back up to the top for the next column!

Completely forgot to post stitching photos last week, so here's 2 weeks worth of my temperature tree. We're definitely warming up now, and I'm much happier with the weather ;)

I did do my temperature tree days even though I was working on the bookmark. We are warming up, we are!

I've not worked on my two main projects at all this week coz I suddenly decided to give a friend of mine a bookmark for her birthday (she's not on Mastodon). All the stitching is now done, I just have to work out if I can wash it (the floss is all DMC so should be OK but I want to test the dark red one), then finish it off properly.
The initial is from a free DMC alphabet, the rest is self-drafted using colours I had to hand.
I've gotten round the corner at the bottom left with the border of the penguin piece. Once I get halfway across with that I think I'll start working on the black bit of one of the penguins (it's easier to do it after the border so there are more reference points to count from, I hope!).
