happy new year (lunar) to all who partake-

I marked it by inviting a whole bunch of snakes to have dinner with my family.

It went great, the kids were only bitten twice* and my partner stopped complaining about me serving freeze-dried mice after I delivered a brief powerpoint presentation on mammalian privilege and repto-phobia.

Overall I think we're enriched and can;'t wait to leverage this occasion to be extremely annoying, perfomative and ineffective allies of the betrodden serpent community.
