Mastodawn

I wished I could tell you about its beauty,
about God’s paradise on earth.
It was a small place,
yet it held enough love to fill the whole world.

The homes were warm with loving hearts,
and the streets were full of life and laughter.

But…
everything turned into a mirage,
and paradise turned into rubble,
and the hearts that were once full of love
became a symbol of pain and sorrow.
