Fa uns dies criticava això del desenvolupament de #spacemacs, és de justícia dir que més o menys s'ha esquivat la bala (abans no hagi canviat de configuració :P).

En aquesta PR comenten com d'innecessari són tots aquests fitxers d'agents de #ia i acaben retirant-los del repo.

@sysedit #spacemacs is very fast in client mode on Linux with a good laptop. Admittedly, all of these are must-haves for a good experience and #nvim is still a bit faster. But it's rock solid and I spend more time fixing #nvim problems than I could ever regain from its higher speed.

@publicvoit @sysedit Isn't a distribution what #spacemacs and #doomemacs effectively provide? It is just one command line away after installing emacs.

My underused #vim keybinding 4 - "$" and "^"

`$` jumbs to the end of the current line, `^` jumps to the first non-whitespace character of the current line. They are underused because...I don't use them at all! They are cumbersome to type and have no mnemonic, making them utterly unlike how vim should be. So I've simply bound "H" to "^" and "L" to "$". Now I can move a little to the left with "h" and a lot with "H". #vim #nvim #spacemacs

Fa anys que faig servir #spacemacs perquè és una configuració fàcil i còmode per l'#emacs. Contràriament al que s'espera, no volia dedicar infinit temps a mantenir-lo; en tinc prou amb el super poder de modificar el què necessiti.

Però des de fa unes setmanes s'ha començat a incloure #IA per al desenvolupament de spacemacs, i els commits són pura fantasia, amb piles de text per definir "personalitats" per a diferents #agents encarregats de diferents coses.

... Així que tocarà canviar. Encara no sé si a alguna cosa com #doom o acceptar que hauria de configurar-lo de 0. Segurament un altre projecte per les vacances, però ostres ja. N'estic fart d'esquivar aquesta tecnologia, a l'espera que les conseqüències que se'n deriven ens esclafin.

Frustrated with how #spacemacs has kept kicking me in the shins with packages after upgrades (either of #emacs or spacemacs itself).

Giving a try to #DoomEmacs now.

Let's see how that puppy works.

Spent some time today going through the Spacemacs documentation. My hand made config wasn't getting anywhere and kept throwing up errors, so I think (at least for now), I'll run a spacemacs config, it has most of the features I want.

I *need* to get it sorted by next week, when I'll finally be given the green flag on my apprenticeship. I'll be using orgmode to make notes and (I hope) as IDE for my chosen language.
