_Light bites will be provided, so please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions._ **Join us for an orientation to strategic organizing with Food & Water Action, and learn how to hold elected officials accountable through "birddogging."** Birddogging involves showing up at public events where an elected official or candidate is appearing to ask about their stance on an issue and get them on the record. We'll cover the fundamentals of community organizing and how to hold your elected officials accountable. And we'll practice and develop our skills together! This is a great chance to meet and connect with others in the community.
