Part 1…

Thought I'd let my freak flag fly so here's some sound for this #SilentSunday. A five minute stereo field recording, spur of the moment so not perfect. The song of reeds and rushes being bent and tousled in today's strong winds. Some wind does occasionally get through the wind guard, but we'll just say that adds to the ambiance. Listen, relax and let your mind wander.

I had to remake this post because I forgot to set it to public 💀

After a long hiatus #SoundSunday 4 is here! This is what I listened to about a month ago, so not much to say about most of these because I have forgotten about them since then. Now, I do have something a little bit better planned for next week, and considering that we now have html support and 5000 characters, you can imagine that the format is gonna be a lot better (as in no more threads just a single post).

That being said, it seems to me that albums by artists I'm already familiar with are not necessarily bad but definitely not their best work. I'm thinking of Big K.R.I.T., whose album I didn't come back to (bar a few tracks such as Learned From Texas). Charli XCX's newest records has some cool highlights but I think it pales in comparison to her 2020 record "how i'm feeling now".
Perturbator's newest solo project "Lustful Sacrement" is a change in artistic direction, but it still has his trademark sound all over it. The Weeknd's Beauty Behind The Madness is fine, but I don't think anything he's ever done prior to After Hours is like -y'know- as good as After Hours.

Third edition of #SoundSunday ☺️
This time I remembered to actually do it beforehand lmao. This is probably gonna be the format moving forward. 9 albums, no more, no less.

I fell asleep and didn't finish preparing #SoundSunday number 2(12/06/2022).

No stinkers this week. All of these albums are fine. Also I'm almost at the end of my album backlog, so there will most likely be fewer albums on later editions.

Time for the first edition of #SoundSunday (05/06/2022) 🥳

Here's a collage of all the albums I have listened to this week (the list might not be exhaustive, because I started listing them halfway through the week).

The names of the albums and their respective artists are listed in the image description.

I actually didn't have much time to prepare this because I literally decided upon it yesterday 😂

Today, I'm gonna start a new thing that I'm going to call #SoundSunday. The goal is to share the albums I have listened to during the week, talk about the ones that really moved me, and hopefully you can find something you like too ☺️
