We've been off grid since 27th February (in that we've consumed no shore power since then) and it looks like we're off grid now until November (based in last year's plugin date). Loving the #solarboatlife!

Winter morning's aren't always the best, but as I took the dog out first thing I saw a kingfisher, cormorants, ducks, geese, swans and oystercatchers. All before I even left the pontoon. Living on water really is pretty special.

Tough weekend as (with impeccable timing for Mothers Day) the pump from the rainwater reclamation tank failed, so we now have no hot water! Then this morning I saw 3 kingfishers and the first sand martins of the year. You can't beat that. #SolarBoatLife #Birds #Spring
