Welcome back to Sketch Diary, which is now on Day #7. Today I wanted to talk about character sheets. And let's just say, it's something I really need to work on. #Hands and veins seem to be a theme today. I think I have a teeny art project brewing.

Aside from the earlier blood-drawing adventure, my daughter is off ren-fairing in the east. She sent me a picture of her in costume(a wizard, btw) and I was struck by her hands. Long, spidery fingers and her prominent veins.

She's only/already 29. But her hands look like they belong on someone 20+ years older.

I've had an affinity for Egon Schiele's hands most of my adult life (Almost got kicked out of the Guggenheim one time for being a bit too enthralled by them...) and see a similarity in her hands in this pic. YMMV...

I'd like to do a photo shoot of both of our hands comparing & contrasting & comingled in various exaggerated postures & positions.

Something to amuse me a bit the next time we are together.
