So, #SixForty is going to be a smallish, easy project with multiple goals: it's been a while since I want to make a picture-oriented, kind of social network client on the #AppleII. But after the Mastodon project, I don't really fancy handling 20 api endpoints and entities and json selectors etc. So a client for 640by480.com fits the bill as its API is simple, plus I like the vibe of the website.
It will allow me to take pleasure in easy coding here and there, give me patience when I wait for components for my hardware stuff, and should provide me with one or two side quests.
I'm going to have fun !
Neat that the /api/ endpoint is usable as a multi-tool - connectivity check, and token validity check. It works with no auth token, with a valid auth token, and returns 401 with a wrong (or expired) token. Perfect.

I wanted to implement login persistence AND posting pictures tonight, but I got mopped around the floor by an extra \n for much too long to imagine starting POSTing tonight.

Mono/color toggle is in #SixForty. All 6 colors of the DHGR mode.

Also "scrolling" (with left and right keys)
