Christmas Eve & #listening to my 2nd favourite album of the year by #BigThief #DragonNewWarmMountainIBelieveYou.

For a double album, the consistency of songwriting is impressive, #Changes, the title track, #SimulationSwarm are highlights - but pretty much everything here meets the high bar of ‘good’.

The feel of thing reminds me of Dylan’s The Basement Tapes. DNWM was recorded across multiple sessions & studios resulting in stylistic & tonal shifts throughout - but it works.
