Perfecting the Shape-Changing Fruit Bowl

Do you remember Simone Giertz, the Swedish girl who built all those crazy cheap robots that _almost_ worked and failed in hilarious ways? Over the years, she has been inventing and making many things that aren't quite as useless and sometimes even useful. Of course she still does a lot of useless robotic toys, although they're better designed and less prone to failure now.
But she also produces and sells a number of her inventions, and right now, she's sitting on a too large stockpile of her Spool Tables. Those are small tables that look like a giant spool of thread with a giant needle stuck in there, and there is a lamp hanging from the thread that goes through the eye of the needle.
I couldn't use another small table right now, I wouldn't know where to put it, but if any of you could use a small table with a built-in lamp that looks like it was stolen from the house of a giant, have a look:

I'm not getting paid for this or anything, I just happen to be a fan of #SimoneGiertz and want her to be able to sell another Spool Table or two before the storage costs eat up all her money.
EDIT: I should warn you that her tables are quite expensive. You couldn't build something like that for very much cheaper and expect it to last. The real problem is that there aren't enough people who can spend hundreds on a single nonessential piece of furniture. I am much more likely to build something like this table myself that buy anything like it. I think it's absolutely awesome, and if I was filthy rich, I'd already have two of those. If you want to understand how this thing can be so expensive, you can watch Simone make one on YT.

Of course I have a dirty laundry chair in my bedroom - it's even one I built when I was in training as a furniture maker. Is it pretty? Pro'lly not. Is it loaded with half-laundry? Very much so, yes.
- and I actually like Simone's solution, I'm as surprised as she is that it actually works 😂
