As #ShoreLeave43 draws near, I am reminded of that famous Sun Tsu quote that "No convention schedule survives first contact with reality.”
This year’s media guests include #GracePark, #AaronDouglas, #ClaudiaBlack, and #BenBrowder, but they’re secondary to the friends I’ve not seen in the past year.
What a weird hotel. They have a con and only two people at checkin and they just closed the cafe for the day. And everyone is working at a leisurely pace.
Hanging out in the cafe until things start at 1. Working on my Watsonian novel.
Arrived but discovered my hotel reservation is screwed up and they have no rooms.
So much for the con. Going home later today.
