This time of year I love listening to Norwegian indie/folk musician Moddi. Maybe it's the geography finding its way into music, or perhaps something about the lyrics, but it fits these shorter days like a mitten.

His (2013 and *mostly* English) album Set The House On Fire is exceptional from beginning to end, a perfect winter companion, especially on snowy and blowy days like today.
